Benz's latest electric touring car EQS officially arrived in Hong Kong today. This luxury electric touring car is currently Benz's highest specification, equipped with 0.20 Cd ultra-low wind resistance, 770 kilometers of endurance, 56-inch ultra-large screen system MBUX Hyperscreen and support conditional Level 3 driving assistance.

The factory once again emphasized that EQS is not an electric version of S Class, but a new car with a new chassis design. The appearance of EQS is different. It is designed with a dark black ghost mask of Black Panel, and a light belt is added to connect the innovative headlights. Black Panel joins A three-dimensional star logo. EQS's functional design chassis is specially designed for electric vehicles. The model adopts a single-bow line, forward-moving cab, and a sloping tail body design, which can be easily distinguished from other fuel-engined vehicles.

The EQS, the first all-electric luxury RV in the Mercedes-EQ series, integrates technology, design, function and connectivity. It uses energy-saving materials and uses a dedicated EVA platform for electric vehicles to meet the requirements of sustainable development. MBUX Hyperscreen is a major design selling point of EQS. It is equipped with an ultra-large LCD screen system. Its 56-inch ultra-jumbo screen display block should include: 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, 17.7-inch OLED screen in the center console and front of the passenger seat 12.3-inch OLED screen. MBUX Hyperscreen, which can display driving information or audio-visual entertainment content for car owners, adopts a "zero layer" operation concept, which is more similar to traditional vehicle operation, and also has AI smart learning and OTA update functions. EQS's built-in HEPA filter system effectively reduces bacteria and viruses and maintains the air quality in the car. It is the world's first car model to obtain OFI CERT ZG 250-1 certification issued by OFI, an Austrian research institution. In addition, EQS adopts NCM 811 lithium-ion battery and 400V architecture EQS battery pack has a liquid thermal management system, so that the vehicle can be warmed up or cooled, so it can be in the best operating temperature range at the fast charging station. EQS will launch two models, EQS 450+ and AMG EQS53 4M+, with the largest battery capacity of 107.8 kWh and a range of up to 770 kilometers. In addition, it also supports 200 kW fast charging function, which can increase the battery life by 300 kilometers after 15 minutes of charging. It only takes 31 minutes to charge from 10% to 80%.

The single-motor and rear-wheel drive design EQS 450+ can output up to 329 horsepower, and the top speed is 210 km/h, which can accelerate from 0 km/ to 100 km/h in 6.2 seconds. The AMG EQS53 4M+ with dual motors and four-wheel drive can output up to 516 horsepower, but the top speed is the same as the 210 km/h of the EQS 450+. It only takes 4.3 seconds to accelerate from 0 km/ to 100 km/h.
