Starward Industries has announced that The Invincible , an exclusive next-gen sci-fi game, has been pushed back to 2022.

Previously, it was planned for sometime this year. Despite the sad news, the Polish studio released the game's first teaser.

The title, announced in September 2020, is based on the science fiction novel of the same name written by the Polish Stanislaw Lem in 1964. The suspenseful story features space scientist Yasna waking up on a hostile planet.

At first the objective will be to find the hidden crew, but the world will keep many surprises and secrets for the character. Check the synopsis (via Steam ):
You are a scientist aboard an interstellar scientific expedition, suddenly launched on a life-or-death rescue mission. Landing on a planet Regis III, you'll have to find the missing crew members using advanced space equipment, while relying on your instincts to survive on the hostile planet. You'll soon discover that Regis III holds terrifying secrets that are revealed as you discover the fate of your crew. And as you go deeper into the mystery, you realize maybe you're not alone and that it's better to leave some places untouched, as is the case on this planet. But it's too late to go back.

The Invincible teaser shows the protagonist encountering a mysterious character and, in the background, you can see the incredible setting of the planet. As it is exclusive to the new generation, the game has fewer graphical limitations. Check out:

The Invincible will come to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC.
