The long awaited release of Resident Evil Village is just under a month away. Capcom already intended to release a preview of the game to players - but has not released an official date. Apparently, this is close to occurring, as demo files have just arrived in a new update on PSN.

To be more exact, one of the items in the collection is called the “Resident Evil Village game demo” - so it is almost certain that the trial version will soon show up. Other information points to a file with about 10 GB and focus on gameplay - unlike “Maiden“, which demonstrated the new generation look on PS5.

On top of that, the PSN update also placed some images about the game. One of them is written “Gameplay Demo” and another one appears to be the demo startup screen. Another photo seems to refer to the PS Vita controls.

Being in the PSN collection means that Capcom sets the stage for the launch of the preview. The expectation is that it will reach the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC. However, as nothing has been officially confirmed by Capcom so far, it is better to consider the above information as mere rumors.

However, as report may have it, Resident Evil Village will be released on May 7.
